FIRST ANNIVERSARY BALL

The Party: A Black Tie Affair to celebrate the First Anniversary
of the ICAEW Malaysia
Oohs!
and Aahs! were heard as the guests entered the ballroom
with its special lighting effects. The party held recently
at the newest five star hotel in Kuala Lumpur promised a
night of good food, great entertainment and a chance to
meet some of the top echelon of the business community in
Malaysia, many of whom are members of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants in England and Wales.
After
mingling with colleagues and fellow CAs at the preceding
cocktail reception, the dinner that followed did not disappoint.
The attentive staff ensured that the guests were well looked
after while they sat back to enjoy the entertainment which
was provided by Les Belle Stompers, Ms Esther Tan (our very
own ACA crooner) and the Instant Cafe Theatre.
Co-emcees,
Ramesh and Kit, kept the show going with some accountant
jokes (which was your favourite?). Lucky draw prizes and
door gifts topped off an evening of fun, camaraderie and
fellowship.
Look
forward to next year's which promises to be bigger and better!
