Why be a Chartered Accountant?
|
Chartered Accountancy has
undergone a quiet revolution. It has always been an important
profession, since it underpins the smooth running of just
about every organization out there. But recently, technological
advances have enabled computers to crunch numbers, leaving
Chartered Accountants free to concentrate their efforts on
deciding where organizations are heading and how best to get
there.
Viewed as a "mark of quality" by employers, the
ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification allows
graduates to create some distance from their peers. Best
of all, it is a profession that is as far-reaching as it
is direct. Qualified Chartered Accountants work as professional
business advisers in every size of organization, in all spheres
of business and the public sector.
